Zomato, one of India’s most recognized tech brands, wanted to bring fresh energy and engagement to its visual communications through animation. The goal was to create an animated sequence that not only reflected Zomato’s bold, fast-paced brand personality but also resonated with their diverse digital audience.


Challenge

Zomato’s brand is known for its wit, energy, and red-hot visual identity. The challenge was to design an animation that matched this dynamic tone while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic. It needed to feel distinctly “Zomato” — playful yet premium, and instantly recognizable.


Approach

We began by analyzing Zomato’s existing brand guidelines and motion usage across platforms. From there, our creative direction focused on smooth transitions, bold typography, and vibrant color plays that align with the company’s signature red palette.

Using a mix of Adobe After Effects and illustrative motion techniques, we crafted a high-impact intro animation that emphasized the company’s speed and reliability in delivering food and experiences. The animation was optimized for both social media and internal brand presentations.
